1921 Black Wall Street: An Artistic Reflection
Stage Play Commemorates the 1921 Black Wall Street
In commemoration of the upcoming centennial of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre, Greenwood Cultural Center presents a stage production: 1921 Black Wall Street An Artistic Reflection. This production invites the audience to experience through spoken word, dance and more, the 1921 Greenwood community known as Black Wall Street; viewing this important history through the lens of artistic reflection. Working collaboratively, local Tulsa writers, artists and performers, conceived, wrote, directed and produced this special work.
